$25,000 in Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance

One of my favorite lenders, and the Maryland down payment assistance guru, is planning to host a webinar series over the next couple of months, focusing on various down payment programs available throughout the Maryland and DC areas. The first webinar will cover the Pathway to Purchase Program and is scheduled for September 4th at 10 a.m. This brief, 30-minute session is designed to accommodate busy schedules while delivering a wealth of valuable information.

The Pathway to Purchase Program offers $25,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance for the purchase of properties in Prince George's County. The assistance is provided in the form of a zero-percent deferred loan, which is forgiven over 10 years, with $2,500 forgiven each year the homeowner remains in the home. Additionally, by partnering with the Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP), buyers can receive an extra $8,500 in assistance, bringing the total potential aid to $33,500.
